Goliath Goliath is the first dog we got as a couple. We adopted Goliath in February of 2000 from a Rottweiler Rescue. He was about a year old then, and weighed in at 95 lbs. We wanted a Rottie with a tail because we knew that they were difficult to place in homes, most people want the traditional docked tail. We didn't get a good look at Goliath until we'd had him a few days, he was so active! The first day we had him, he broke out of his crate and ate a bag of 15-dried bean soup and a package of tomato fertilizer spikes before our housemates could restrain him. He's much better behaved now! Goliath is our gentle giant who has never met a person he didn't like, especially if they had treats or would rub his belly.
